I thought this grip material was pretty good texture wise. Not overly rough but easy to grip. For installation it was a little tricky to get that back strap perfectly strait where the grip wrap aligns with it. A little massaging I worked it in line. It still wasn’t sticking well at the top where it had a pretty tight bend. I just kept mashing it up into that curve as much as possible and it seems to have stayed put for now.
I would probably use this again. The price was right but time will tell on durability.
