We’ve had several customers make purchases this afternoon, using the PayPal feature to check out. In each case, the site-wide sale discount was not applied, and had to be refunded manually. We were advised to remove the “buy now” buttons, and force the transaction to go through the cart, but that did not resolve the issue. we disabled the PayPal option while trying to get the issue resolved, but tech support was unable to get it figured out. For now, we’ve reactivated PayPal, and will manually issue refunds for the difference in the sale price, and the regular price that is being charged in PayPal. We’re still encouraging customers to use the “Proceed to Checkout” button check out using the card of their choice, including PayPal cards. Using the Proceed to Checkout button will include al discounts, including sale prices and coupon codes.
