I’m sure everyone knows Ebay is a very anti-gun platform. We sold our grip tape products on the site for 24 years, and this weekend, we learned they removed our entire product list from their site, claiming we had too many product removals, due to “possible weapons policy violations”. We’ve had several items removed from the site over the decades, but in each case, the removal was determined to be unjustified, and the items were reinstated by Ebay. Apparently, that has no bearing on their method of kicking business off, and even though we violated no actual policy, we’re no longer welcome to sell on the site. We’ve had similar issues with Social media companies blocking our posts, or removing videos, even though the posts do not violate actual policies. All it takes are a few people reporting the pot as a violation, and without any actual review, the post ends up removed. These huge companies have decided that since the government cannot ban guns, it’s their job to do everything possible to make the gun industry go away. Most of our products are designed to be used with firearms, so we’ve fallen victim to their agendas. I will not support these platforms and allow them to use my money to force their agenda on others. That means I will no longer buy on sites like Ebay, and many others, who are notorious for their anti-gun policies. I encourage everyone to shop their values. If I have to pay little more to buy an item from a site that doesn’t use their power to force their agenda, I’m very willing to do so. We’re currently in the process of finding other platforms to sell on, outside of our website. When we find one, I’ll post an update. These days, it’s difficult to even advertise, especially through social media companies. I just wanted to take a moment to address any questions relating to why we suddenly disappeared from Ebay after almost two-and-a-half decades. I’m thankful we were able to get our entire catalog listed on this new site, including all of our custom material options. I hope everyone likes what they see on the InstantStipple.com website. Let us know if there’s anything we can add. We have some new merch that will be added soon, along with some grip tape items for tumblers and cups.
